Joan J. Lee aims to provide high-quality legal services to every client to resolve debt issues and regain financial stability while treating each client with respect, compassion, and sensitivity.
Joan grew up in Duluth, Georgia, and attended Duluth High School. She graduated from Georgia State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Though not originally from the Midwest, Joan moved to Kansas City in 2018 and worked as a paralegal for the Jackson County Family Court. She remained in Kansas City until 2020 before relocating to Lawrence, Kansas, to enroll in the University of Kansas School of Law.
While attending the University of Kansas School of Law, Joan served as Vice President of the First-Generation Professionals (FGP) student organization. She participated in the Mock Trial Council, the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court competition, and the Paul E. Wilson Project for Innocence and Post-Conviction Remedies. She also worked as a judicial intern for Judge D. Crabtree at the United States District Court for the District of Kansas. Joan earned her Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Advocacy Skills from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2023.
Before joining Sader Law Firm, LLC, Joan worked at a local Kansas City law firm as a legal assistant, where she gained experience in insurance defense and personal injury defense.
In addition to her dedication to her work and clients, Joan enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking new recipes, and exploring antique shops. As a new Kansas City sports fan, Joan also regularly follows and watches the Kansas City Chiefs.
