Richard earned his Juris Doctor degree while attending the University of Tulsa College of Law. During his law studies, Richard was also involved in various organizations, including as a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Bar Association. Before earning his law degree, he obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, with a minor in Finance, from the University of Oklahoma. Throughout his academic career, Richard received numerous awards and distinctions, such as the Order of the Barristers and CALI Awards, and also participated in and won various student legal competitions. Richard is licensed and ready to help clients in the state of Oklahoma.

Before joining the Stange Law Firm, PC in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Richard practiced as a member attorney, working on civil evaluations, property and personal injury claim settlements in district court and workers’ compensation court. Richard has 19 years of experience in the fields of personal injury, insurance claims, bankruptcy, general civil litigation, criminal law, probate, taxation, and workers’ compensation. Before his extensive experience as a legal advisor, Richard also worked as a legal assistant for two years, where he researched legal and tax issues, drafted memos, and assisted in preparing other documents for trial preparation.

Outside of his legal work, Richard enjoys spending his free time scuba diving and exploring new waters. He is currently working on obtaining his Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
