MITCHELL Olivia

Family law issues such as divorce are difficult for anyone to face. Olivia Mitchell is a compassionate senior associate attorney at Stange Law Firm, PC. Based in our Clayton, MO office, she can assist individuals throughout St. Louis County, MO, and the surrounding areas.

Olivia earned her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in May 2021. During law school, she received the Dean’s Scholarship and served as Treasurer of the Black Lawyer Student Association. She was also a member of the Street Law Student Organization, the First Chair Society, and a SLU Law Admissions Ambassador. Before attending law school, Olivia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating with honors. While completing her undergraduate studies, Olivia was an Outstanding Research Award recipient, a TRIO CAT Scholarship recipient, and received the First Generation Scholar Award. She also served as Treasurer of the Human Development and Family Studies Student Association and was a member of the Black Collegians Gospel Choir. Olivia is currently licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri.

Before joining Stange Law Firm in St. Louis, Olivia recently worked as an associate attorney for a law firm in St. Joseph, MO, where her duties included supervising paralegals in drafting and preparing legal documents, consulting daily with new potential clients, and developing innovative legal strategies to meet client goals. Olivia also previously worked as an associate attorney for two other firms in the St. Louis area, focusing on drafting pleadings, meeting deadlines, collaborating on legal strategies, filing asbestos-related claims, conducting legal research, and preparing appeals for litigation resolution. Olivia also previously served as a junior associate attorney with Stange Law Firm in 2022.
