HAGER Chad

When you're going through a family law case, you need someone you can trust. Chad Hager will be there to assist you in your time of need. With his experience in family law, he will help you navigate the challenging moments of your life. Chad is a Partner/General Counsel/Secretary at Stange Law Firm, PC, in the St. Charles, MO office, located in St. Charles County. As a Partner, Chad oversees the central region of Stange Law Firm, PC. He has been with the firm since 2013.

Before studying law, Chad earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from Middle Tennessee State University. Years later, he attended the Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois, where he obtained his Juris Doctor. During law school, he worked at the university's legal clinic as a student legal assistant, helping elderly individuals from the initial interview to resolving their legal needs. After graduating, Chad honed his skills as a solo practitioner in St. Charles County. Since joining Stange Law Firm in 2013, Chad has gained valuable experience assisting clients with challenging divorce and family law cases, eventually becoming a Partner. Chad is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Iowa.

Due to his hard work and dedication to helping clients, Chad has received numerous awards, including:

• Super Lawyers – Chad was named a Rising Stars Honoree by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers Magazine in 2021. (The final published Rising Stars list represents no more than 2.5% of the attorneys in the state.)
• Chad is a recognized attorney in divorce and family law. Since 1997, the recognized attorney status has been awarded to lawyers with adequate professional experience and an impeccable record.

When Chad is not handling family law cases, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Carolyn, and their four children. He also loves exploring the area in search of vintage electronics to add to his collection and watching movies. Chad also enjoys playing golf and watching SEC college football.
