Ivie graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelors degree. She went on to the University of Massachusetts School of Law in Dartmouth, Massachusetts for her JD and became a member of the New York Bar in 2018. In her second year in Law school, she worked part-time Legal Intern at the for the New Bedford City Mayor’s Office in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

During her summer breaks, she worked as a Legal Intern at the Bristol County Family and Probate Court and again at I.R.U.S.A in Alexandria, Virginia. I.R.U.S.A is an International nonprofit relief organization. In her final year, she worked part-time as an Immigration Lawyer for course credit. 

After receiving her JD degree. She worked as a Volunteer Attorney for the New York Attorney Generals office in Watertown, New York.

Ivie is a philanthropist at heart with a passion for Public Interest and Humanitarian Law. She has been a member of different women’s rights, Know your rights, and education rights organizations and groups. She is a hard worker and is motivated by her belief in the value of an education.
