Stefanie Tack is a partner and head of our Employment and Social Benefits Law department.She advises clients on all aspects of individual and collective labor law. Stefanie has more than 15 years of extensive experience in labor law across various industries, such as retail, automotive, logistics, chemicals, construction, hospitality, technology, non-profit organizations, and food services.Stefanie is known for her practical and pragmatic approach. She advises clients on drafting company policies, recruiting and dismissing staff (including individual dismissals, retirement plans, etc.), preparing personnel-related documents and drafting specific clauses, remuneration, (extra-legal) benefits, establishing representation bodies, organizing social elections, the status of protected employees, workplace well-being, and company restructurings (including collective dismissals and division/site/factory closures). She also assists clients in mergers and acquisitions, addressing all social law aspects.Over the years, she has developed specific expertise in HR compliance, particularly advising companies on the implementation and application of internal whistleblowing channels and procedures.Stefanie Tack is also a highly skilled negotiator in dialogues with adversaries and unions. She is a trusted advisor for guiding and defending clients in labor inspections, internal HR audits, and litigation before Belgian courts.Stefanie’s articles are frequently published in legal journals, and she is often invited to speak at conferences and seminars worldwide on various labor and employment law topics.Stefanie was elected Vice-Chair of the Human Capital & Talent Committee at AmCham Belgium. She also volunteers as an academic assistant in the labor and employment law department at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and is an active member of various national and international associations.EducationStefanie holds a Master's degree in Law from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). She also earned an expert diploma in sports management from the same university.
