Carl Bevernage (°1943 - Portstewart, N. Ireland) advises on all aspects of both collective and individual labor law. After serving as a research and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law at KU Leuven, Carl joined the Brussels Bar and contributed for nearly thirty years to the development of a leading Belgian law firm of international renown, and subsequently to the expansion of a Dutch-Belgian law firm in Belgium.Carl is an active member of the International Labor and Employment Section of the ABA and the Labor and Employment Section of the IBA. He was president of the Brussels Bar (D) from 1990 to 1992, head of the Belgian delegation to the Council of European Bars (CCBE) (2006-2008), and currently chairs the GATS committee of the CCBE. He also chairs the board of directors of a hospital, is a director of the Brussels Philharmonic Society, and co-chairs the Belgian-Dutch association.
