Hiap Choong Foo

Mr. Foo Hiap Choong graduated with a degree in law from the University of London in 2007 and obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice in 2009. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar on October 8, 2010. He began his legal practice handling banking disputes, bankruptcy proceedings, and civil litigation, including land disputes, specific performance of contracts, and enforcement of judgments.

In 2013, Mr. Foo founded Foo Chambers, where he led practice areas covering civil disputes, real estate litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, debt recovery, estate and inheritance administration, and property transfer matters. He contributed to a local magazine by writing legal articles on property purchases.

In 2017, Foo Chambers merged with Low & Partners. This strategic merger allowed the firm to expand its regional presence in southern Malaysia. Mr. Foo subsequently led Low & Partners' branch in Johor Bahru, bringing his experience and expertise in law to the role.

Mr. Foo believes in sharing legal knowledge. He has delivered various lectures to raise public awareness about proper estate planning and management. He also frequently holds seminars and workshops to enhance public knowledge on estate administration, debt recovery, bankruptcy, contract disputes, and more.
