Low Mee Keng Jasmine

Jasmine Low graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Laws in 1997 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1998. She is a senior member of the Bar with over 20 years of experience.

Jasmine’s extensive experience is undeniable. She began her career as a litigation lawyer before co-founding the law firm Messrs Tengku Azlina, Rao, Low & Associates in 1999. There, she actively handled property conveyancing in addition to overseeing the administration, management, and accounting of the partnership. In 2016, Jasmine was offered a partnership at Messrs Bas Vin Associates, where she led both the property conveyancing and corporate law departments. Later, in 2019, she joined Messrs Low & Partners as a partner.

Notable Cases/Transactions

• Corporate and Commercial Law: Drafted and advised on numerous corporate and commercial agreements for her clients in local and cross-border collaborations and joint ventures, including partnerships with Oxford Business School, Siemens, and various government-linked companies (GLCs).
• Strata Management Laws: Represented and advised several Joint Management Bodies (JMBs) and Management Corporations (MCs) for various strata projects in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, ranging from low-cost apartments to high-end condominiums. She drafted their by-laws/statutes and facilitated their annual general meetings (AGMs).
• Property Conveyancing Laws: Represented individual and corporate clients in various real estate transactions, including sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, tenancy and lease agreements, trust deeds, powers of attorney, wills, and legal compliance for government approvals.
